A microdose is a small sub-perceptual (unnoticeable) dose. Many people report the alleviation of depression and anxiety, greater insight, lower stress levels, more presence, compassion and peace, among other positive changes while microdosing Ayahuasca Vine.To begin microdosing with Ayahuasca Vine we suggest starting with 2 drops under your tongue daily for 4 weeks. Then take a 2 week break. If you desire, increase your dose by 1 drop per 4 week cycle. We DO NOT RECOMMEND exceeding 5 drops per day. (see the “Risks” section of this site)
To start we generally recommend a short program of six weeks. For those experiencing severe anxiety or depression we recommend a 14-18 week program along with microdosing coaching.
There are no strict rules for microdosing, what’s important is that you stay conscious when working with this plant. Ayahuasca is not addictive, however when people derive a benefit from working with it they can develop an emotional dependence.
Working with Ayahuasca is not the same as being on a pharmaceutical drug where you might be on an antidepressant for the rest of your life. The idea of working with Ayahuasca is to come in to balance within your own mind, body and spirit so you no longer need it.
When you microdose a Master Plant Teacher like Ayahuasca Vine you are developing a relationship with the plant. We recommend setting intentions for your protocol. Dieta is an important part of your relationship with Ayahuasca Vine. Aside from foods and medicines that pose risks it is very helpful to reduce your intake of stimulants such as coffee, sugars, spices and even reducing TV and Social Media intake which can affect dopamine and serotonin levels.
